[Review] Fire Emblem Special Edition Package

Hey guys, Taiyo here with another review post :) This time, it's about the latest release from the Fire Emblem Series, which is the Fire Emblem Fates, and not just that, but this is a review about the Fire Emblem Fates Special Edition. Yep. The Special Edition. This one ↓

So okay, first of all, this version of the game is HELLA HARD to get. Like seriously. I lost all hope to get this, but the people have there have been kind enough to give me an opportunity to be able to buy this versionon launch day. Best Buy and EB Games (Canadian Game Stop) would run out of stock from the range of 2 minutes to 2 hours everytime they had a restock, and there were some other places where you could get them in Canada besides Best Buy and EB Games, such as some Microplay Stores in Quebec and of course, Amazon.ca, which is where I was able to buy my copy. At first, I wasn't too sure whether I should buy it from them because I looked up some people who were able to get it from Amazon, and apparently, theirs had the boxes and some parts of the artbook damaged, and since it was my first time to buy a Special/Limited Edition, I wanted it to be at a hundred percent, and when it arrived, 2 business days later (launch day was in February 19, 2016), I got my copy in a yellow bubble wrap package.

(Please don't mind the duct tape because this side of the package had my personal info in it, so...yeah) I was really worried about what state it would be when it came to me, and THANK GOD that it reached me at a hundred percent state. It came to me in perfect state, as you can see from the first picture. There was no dent or whatever on the box, as well as the products inside. So inside the package, was of course, the promised art book that had very, very, VERY beautiful pictures, and the character profiles were very detailed, as well as the scenic views of the game looked very realistic as well, another thing inside was a pouch that had 2 different pictures on each side. One side had the main cover of the Special Edition box that had both families on each side with a My Unit representative while the other side had the whole map of the game, and finally, the game itself. The front of the game case have your birth family on it, while the back of the case had your adoptive family, and behind the cover/back photo, there's the very same picture of the Special Edition box cover. It's a really repetitive picture, but I don't really mind, since I won't be carrying the whole box around with me, right?

But anyway, here's a picture of the whole box as well as its contents.

I've been a fan of the Fire Emblem Series since 2005, when I started playing my first ever version of the series, Fire Emblem: Rekka no Ken, more commonly known as just Fire Emblem. I don't know why it was named so simple from the series it belonged to because it's not even the first version, but yes, the first game I ever played was the 2003 release of the Series. Ever since I played that, I was hooked, and from then on, I've been playing the preceding series.

And that is it for this package review, if any of you guys want me to go more in depth about the game, just comment below :)

xoxo
